We are working closely with a boutique IP practice that is looking to engage with an experienced IP Litigation Lawyer on a flexible, non-exclusive consultancy basis. This opportunity is non-exclusive, fully remote and does not require a client following as the work will be provided.
The practice works with a lot of SMEs and start-ups across a full range of sectors, to include those operating within food and beverage through to pharmaceutical sectors. Their client base spans both the UK and the US, and they receive a strong number of referrals from Innovate UK.
The team is adept in advising across all types of IP disputes including patents, designs, trade marks, copyright and breach of confidence.
A client following is not required as the work will be provided on a project by project basis, and a competitive hourly rate is on offer.
Successful Lawyers should be able to demonstrate:
1. Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales. Further admittance in the US would also be of notable interest, but is not essential.
2. Upwards of 5 years’ PQE as an Intellectual Property Litigation Lawyer, and experience in handling a range of IP disputes including patents, designs, trade marks, copyright and breach of confidence.
3. Training or experience gained from top 50 or international firms, along with some in-house experience, would be of notable interest.
4. A genuine interest in providing legal advice to SMEs, Start-Ups and Entrepreneurs.
5. A thirst for working in a refreshing and flexible manner.
Successful Lawyers will be required to hold a current England & Wales practising certificate, but can work remotely from around the world.
This consultancy engagement represents a unique opportunity for the successful Lawyer to build on a portfolio, or fractional, IP disputes career.
