Our client is a successful independent accountancy practice with offices in Doncaster, Sheffield and Northampton. As a result of practice growth, they are now looking to recruit an Audit Senior for their Doncaster Office.

You will play a pivotal role in leading their audit engagements onsite, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality service to their clients. Key responsibilities
1. Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to audit standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
2. Coordinate and supervise audit teams onsite, providing guidance and support to junior team members throughout the audit process.
3. Prepare audit work, financial statements, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
4. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business processes, identify risks, and provide value-added recommendations for improvement.
5. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and resource on audit-related matters.
6. Stay abreast of changes in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry developments.
7. Contribute to the development and implementation of audit methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
8. Assist with business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking activities to support the growth of the audit practice.
Qualifications
1. Qualified/Nearly qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with audit experience.
