Lift Service Manager
Location: Reading
Salary: £45,000 - £57,000 (dependent on experience)
Additional Earnings: Bonus of circa £10,000-£15,000 per annum (performance based)

REClifts is now working with a well-known lift engineering company looking to recruit a proven Lift Service Manager / Lift Repair Manager. Flexible working is supported - Half the week out on site dealing with clients on the portfolio and helping Engineers on the phone, and then the remaining time in the office.
Commutable from: Reading, Slough, Oxford, Swindon, Winchester, Cheltenham, Aldershot, Basingstoke.
The target for the role will be to nurture all existing clients on the service portfolio liaising directly with the entire service and repairs department and all senior management team.
As a Lift Service Manager, you will be commercially minded and target-driven to achieve personal and team revenue targets. You will be incentivized to identify new sales opportunities to grow the lift engineering company with a performance bonus of circa £10,000-£15,000 per annum.
The Lift Service Manager will work closely with the Senior Leadership team to work as one engineering unit, working towards optimum branch efficiencies. This role is Health and Safety focused, customer retention, turnover growth, P&L responsibility, balanced organic growth, and continually improving operational effectiveness of the Lift Service department.
Responsibilities of the Lift Service Manager:
1. Provide front line support to all Lift Engineers either over the phone or on site.
2. Deliver tool box talks, act as escalation point of contact for on-call Lift Engineers.
3. Carry out dilapidations, lift condition reports, detailed site surveys, and quality audits.
4. Manage the service process, including compiling quotes, booking, planning and organizing Lift Engineers, managing the lift off report, providing CSM with weekly forecasts, identifying, sourcing, requesting and booking in parts.
The Ideal Lift Service Manager Candidate:
1. Must possess experience in team leadership, technical skills, and customer relationship management. Previous lift industry experience is preferred but not essential.
2. Be self-motivated, have great customer service skills and the ability to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship whilst working under minimum supervision.
