Business Support Statutory Meeting Administrator
CJSW Business Services Office, 24 Broughton Place, Edinburgh
Salary: £25, - £27,
Hours: 36 per week
An interesting and exciting opportunity has arisen to join Business Support.
As part of the Justice Services Team the successful candidate will work in the Sex & Violent Offender Liaison Team which was originally based at Fettes Police Station, Edinburgh. Working closely with the Police and other agencies the main task of this role involves taking minutes of complex multi-agency meetings as well as providing standard business services and office tasks. The successful candidate will be required for deployment to meetings immediately. There is no client/offender contact in this role.
Previous office and minute taking experience is essential. Candidates should be dynamic and be able to work with minimal supervision.
After training and good process understanding an opportunity may arise for HYBRID working. A HYBRID home/office rota is in place which would include both home working and attending a business office located in the basement area of CRANE Services, 24 Broughton Place, Edinburgh. Meetings would be attended by means of online communications. Relevant equipment will be supplied.

We're committed to creating a workplace culture where all our people feel valued, included and able to be their best at work, and we recognise the benefits that a diverse workforce with different values, beliefs, experience, and backgrounds brings to us as an organisation.
As part of our goal to improve our organisational culture and create a great place to work together for the people of Edinburgh, we want to make sure that we’re bringing the best people into our roles, not just in their skills and experience but also in their approach to work.
To help achieve this, we’re changing the way we interview and assess candidates by moving from a competency-based interview approach to a behavioural and technical (skills for the job) based approach. This new way of interviewing will allow us to assess how you think and how you would bring Our Behaviours of Respect, Integrity and Flexibility into your ways of working.
