The Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Coordinator to join our Risk & Compliance team within the Authentication division of De La Rue. In this role, you will ensure the success of all compliance and risk within the division by managing the uploading of data into our Due Diligence system, identifying any risks and raising these through the appropriate channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and assess areas of significant business risk
* Support Conformance Board management
* Support the management of the due diligence system including ongoing monitoring of customers
* Manage and report compliance breaches and exposures
* Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practices
* Review all new products, systems, or processes to ensure compliance
* Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks
* Support various departments by collecting and coordinating internal compliance data with auditors and various departments
* Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or Risk Committees
* Support general business improvement projects.

Working hours: Full Time – 36.5 hours

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
* Meticulous attention to details with the ability to multi-task
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills
* Completed degree in risk management, law, business studies, audit (desirable)
* Demonstrable experience in Compliance/Risk related role (desirable)
