The Successful Trainee Service Engineer / Graduate Service Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding and maintenance on compressed air equipment including compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and associated compressed air products at customer sites across Midlands with occasional travel to Coventry for training and parts collection.

Trainee Service Engineer / Graduate Service Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Working at customer sites throughout Midlands with occasional travel to Coventry for training and parts collection.
Trainee Service Engineer / Graduate Service Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer Requirements
Willingness to learn complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Graduate Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Marine Engineer, Entry level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer or similar.
Hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical domains with a willingness to learn.
Strong understanding of three-phase electrics and controls, with hands-on experience preferred.
Mechanical or electrical qualification, apprentice trained, FGas, NVQ level 3, city & guilds, HNC, HND or similar would be a plus.
Determination to learn the compressed air industry and related fields with enthusiasm for career progression opportunities.
Flexibility to travel across Midlands with occasional travel to Coventry for training and parts collection.
