Job Title: Parts Sales Business Manager (Hybrid Working)
Reports To: Parts Manager
Location: Hybrid role with travel to Altrincham, Ruthin, and Longridge Depots
Job Summary:
The Parts Sales Business Manager will drive sales growth and profitability within the parts department by implementing strategic initiatives, building and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a proactive and driven individual who can effectively manage hybrid working while meeting the demands of a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Sales and Revenue Growth:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy in collaboration with the Parts Manager to consistently grow sales revenue across designated territories.
* Identify and secure new customer accounts while nurturing existing relationships to maintain customer loyalty.
* Promote and sell the full range of Gunn JCB parts and aftersales products, including Extended Warranties and Service Plans.
* Achieve and exceed targeted KPIs and revenue objectives in the assigned territory.
* Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and address any challenges.
Customer Relationship Management:
* Build strong, long-term relationships with key machine customers, aftersales clients, and stakeholders.
* Act as a trusted advisor by offering knowledgeable guidance on the benefits of genuine JCB parts compared to non-genuine alternatives.
* Ensure all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and to their satisfaction.
Operational Excellence:
* Utilize marketing initiatives to support sales campaigns and measure the effectiveness of promotions.
* Manage and monitor sales and marketing performance through detailed reporting and data-driven insights.
* Leverage internal resources and collaborate with Gunn JCB colleagues to optimize customer visits and opportunities.
* Train and maintain expertise in JCB product offerings, effectively communicating their unique selling propositions.
Hybrid Working and Time Management:
* Balance time effectively between on-site depot visits, customer site engagements, and remote working.
* Ensure seamless communication and coordination between team members and departments while working remotely.
Team Collaboration:
* Collaborate with aftersales colleagues to maximize service and parts sales opportunities.
* Actively engage with Gunn JCB’s investor partners to align targets and achieve shared objectives.
Skills and Competencies:
* Proven track record in sales, preferably within a B2B or plant environment.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to assess financial risks and opportunities.
* Proficient in IT systems and tools for sales reporting and market analysis.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and execute successful campaigns and initiatives.
* Self-motivated and adaptable to hybrid working, ensuring productivity across various working environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum GCSE in Maths and English Language or equivalent.
* Experience in managing national sales campaigns and achieving performance targets.
* Familiarity with the plant, construction, or machinery sector is advantageous.
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
