Are you a qualified teacher seeking an exciting new opportunity with a better work-life balance?
Teaching Personnel can help you find precisely what you're looking for! We anticipate a surge in demand for supply teachers next month and are actively recruiting dedicated educators for both long- and short-term roles in Malton and surrounding areas.
Who qualifies as a Supply Teacher?
To be eligible, you must:
* Possess UK QTS.
* Have experience across 2 Key Stages (EYFS and KS1 or KS1 and KS2).
* Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and a flexible attitude.
* Be available 2 to 5 days per week.
* Have your own transport and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes.
What does being a Supply Teacher entail?
While most assignments will be scheduled in advance, there may be occasions when you receive calls between 7 am and 9 am for same-day work. Most schools provide the day's lesson plans, but it’s important to have a repertoire of resources suitable for all year groups. Working across various schools, you’ll:
* Adhere to each institution’s policies.
* Assess students' work.
* Provide detailed handover notes for the returning class teacher.
