Employer Engagement Officer to engage with local employers to secure employment, training, and work placement opportunities.
Split between the Burnley and Pendle sites.
1. Provide local labour market information and statistics, and work alongside the employment team to align training and skills development and job brokerage to local labour market trends and opportunities.
2. Develop partnership working with Employer Coalitions, Chambers of Commerce, and employer representative bodies.
3. Develop and manage key employer and partner relationships, employer engagement management information.
4. Develop and manage effective delivery of employer programmes and engagement activity.
5. Support the recruitment process utilizing knowledge of the employer and working alongside the employment team to maximize opportunities for clients to secure employment.
6. Work to and achieve set targets, i.e., numbers on non-regulated activity and job outcomes.
7. Assist in coordinating events to promote our employability offer.
8. Undertake visits and meetings out of hours as required.
9. Work with the Communications Team to produce publicity relating to employment and training programmes, especially in respect of good news stories.
10. Identify and harness local, regional, and national initiatives that deliver new opportunities to access employment/training opportunities.
11. Develop working relationships with other professionals in the field of employment, welfare, and training sector.
12. Be responsible for maintaining a referral and tracking system that will provide statistical information on performance to contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the programmes.
13. Maintain detailed electronic case records and administrative systems in line with Data Protection requirements for both internal and external funders.
