Our client is looking to recruit someone experienced across EHS to support the team at their Research & Development facility near Southampton. What are the key objectives and expectations from this role? Supporting the EHS and compliance teams across the Southampton site with ensuring that the EHS management systems and documentation is in date and compliance actions are tracked to completion. Support the EHS Coordinator in delivery of the day-to-day management of EHS activities, identifying areas of opportunity for simplification and continual improvement. ACCOUNTABILITIES Maintain EHS documentation, ensuring the revision dates are met, tracking any process changes and ensuring any training needs are identified and rolled out Prepare ESG data on a monthly basis for reporting on the Global CR360 platform Produce monthly ESG dashboard reports Conduct monthly headcount and accident reporting and produce monthly dashboards Maintain the audit schedule and track actions to completion Track all compliance strand actions at CBRE monthly meetings. Producing monthly dashboard Roll out EHS sharepoint site and maintain documentation held within Maintain the induction materials and conduct period audits on compliance Maintain local first aid kits and track first aid numbers. Arrange training as required Ensure all spill kits are audited and replaced as required Maintain the legal compliance register ensuring all actions are tracked to completion Support EHS Coordination on near miss, Hazard and/or incident investigations within the technical areas Attend technical committee meetings and support the teams to ensure compliance Maintain KPI's and relevant dashboards to demonstrate continued improvement Provide administration to the EHS IT systems as required EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE ESSENTIAL Experience Required Experience of multi hazard campus style environment Previous support role within a technical function H&S background Understanding of environmental legislation and processes would be beneficialEducation / Qualifications / Certifications Required IOSH Managing safely BENEFICIAL NEBOSH General Certificate (or industry equivalent) COSHH awareness ISO auditing skills Waste managementThis contract is initially until mid-late June but could last longer for the right person and will be based on site 5 days per week. Hours: 35 per week Pay: Up to £17.19 per hour (Depending on suitability)
