GENERAL DESCRIPTION
As a Project Manager for Europe and Africa you lead agency conversion projects from requirements definition through implementation to handover to Business as Usual (project closure). While the focus is set on agency conversions, you might also get involved in internal projects such as product rollouts, sunsets, and 3rd party integrations.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
2. Provide direction to project team to ensure maximum performance.
3. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope and schedule.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and third parties.
5. Create a detailed project plan, including tasks, timelines, and governance.
6. Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters and risk and issue assessment.
7. Analyze project status and monitor KPIs.
8. Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
9. Coordinate the handover to BAU teams.
PROFILE QUALIFICATION :
10. Two or more years of Project Management Experience
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
12. Multilingual Proficiency in English + German (additional languages considered a plus)
13. Proficient in project management methodologies, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle, scope management, and resource allocation.
14. Excellent presentation skills
15. Professional certification such as Prince2 or PMP preferred
16. Team player with experience of working with different cultures in a global environment.
17. Familiarity with travel-specific technologies, booking systems, and emerging tools that optimize operational efficiency within the travel industry.
18. Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive and seamless experience for travel agents, addressing concerns promptly and proactively.
19. Strong leadership qualities to guide and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive project success.
