Job Title: Medical Laboratory Assistant Banding: Band 2 Location: London, Greater London Start: ASAP Duration: May 2025 (possibility of extension based on future needs) Rate: £15.50 - £16.00 Per Hour Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our esteemed client in London. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for executing a comprehensive range of tasks within the Pathology Central Reception. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of laboratory services, which are critical for accurate patient care and treatment. You should be available to work Monday to Sunday between 09:30 to 18:00 and 11:30 to 20:00. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a broad spectrum of tasks, including VDU/data entry, answering and dealing with phone calls, maintaining methodical and organised work practices, performing good housekeeping duties, and ensuring good timekeeping. You will collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care. Qualifications and Experience: Experience in VDU/data entry, answering and dealing with phone calls Extensive experience in laboratory practice. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
