907CW Projects Delivery Manager – Digital & IT Sizewell C, Suffolk - Onsite – (poss 1 day p/w in London HO) Rate: £350 to £480 per day (dependant on pay route) The Projects Delivery Manager (PDM) will report to the Programme Manager and will be assigned projects primarily from the Operational IT Programme although wider involvement across the D&IT portfolio should be anticipated. The Programme Manager will provide support and a point of escalation. For all projects, the PDM will be required to work closely with the business and apply the D&IT delivery methodology and associated governance. The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders is key as is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. The PDM should have suitable experience of delivery across the project lifecycle on complex technical projects ideally within the digital and nuclear industries. Principal Accountabilities Co-ordinate the delivery of multiple projects and the outputs required by the business. Manage scope, schedule, cost and contingency. Manage change. Ensure resources are allocated Support the commercial strategy and contract management. Manage project risks, actions, issues and dependencies. Monitors overall progress and initiates corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that deliverable are produced on time, within budget and to acceptable quality Manages the communications with all stakeholders Reporting progress of the project at regular intervals to the Sponsor, Steering Group or Senior Management Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Effective leadership and the ability to build high performing teams. Excellent communication skills. Great interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage people at all levels. Confident decision-making ability Great organisational skills. Highly experienced in project management in an IT, construction or technical environment. Previous experience of nuclear operations is desirable.
