In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient utilisation of anaesthetic and theatre resources, playing a key role in providing timely treatment for surgical patients. You will work closely with Service Managers, medical staff, ward managers, and The Christie Private Care Clinic to ensure patient care aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs) and Referral to Treatment (RTT) targets. The post is fixed term for 12 months and is full time, 37.5 hours per week. COVID Vaccine is not essential for this role. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: o Monitor cancelled operations and admissions, supporting Service Managers to ensure timely treatment in line with RTT targets. o Ensure accurate reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and adherence to patient access targets and quality standards. o Collaborate with medical staff, ward managers, and The Christie Private Care Clinic to coordinate planned elective admissions and align duty rosters with activity levels. o Lead the modernisation of processes and systems to enhance service delivery, with support from senior management. o Play a proactive role in ensuring the service meets agreed objectives, including quality and patient care standards. Service Delivery To be responsible for all administration services provided within their area of responsibility.
