Role: Procurement and Contracts Lead - Infrastructure and Indirects
Client: Cutting-edge Renewable Energy organisation
Salary: £70,000
Location: Hybrid working and in Berkshire
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Renewable Energy organisation, to support on cutting-edge projects for the design, construction and installation of Solar, Wind and Battery Energy Storage infrastructure.
You'll cover a large portfolio of work, spanning a range of Indirects and Directs Procurement categories, in a blended strategic and hands-on capacity. This end-to-end role will lead Contract and Procurement Strategy (EPC - Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) draft contracts, RFQ and drive tender processes, across Construction, Infrastructure, IT, Systems, Finance and HR.
This role will operate via standard contract form; particularly relevant will be NEC, JCT and FIDIC contracts.
Requirements:
1. Senior Supply Chain and Contracts Procurement experience.
2. Strong Infrastructure / Construction Procurement experience.
3. Excellent stakeholder engagement ability, with the gravitas to present convincingly and achieve buy-in from Directors.
4. Strategic thinker, but happy to be hands-on.
5. Experience with Standard Contract Forms.
6. Advantageous would be any Energy, Construction, Solar PV or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) experience.
