Our client, based in Poole, has gone through an extremely exciting period of growth and the customer base has grown dramatically. They need support in their finance function to deal with the additional work. The offices boat free on site parking for the 2 days where you are required to attend.
Job Description
As the Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
3. Ensure purchase orders are placed and customer invoices are raised
4. Ensure accurate recording of invoices and expenses
5. Ensure a tidy payables ledger with minimum debit balance and unallocated cash
6. Step in and support during particularly busy periods
7. Train team members
8. Prepare and process payment runs
9. Daily posting and reconciliation of bank transactions
10. Cashflow forecasting - to be reviewed with the CFO
11. Liaise with other areas of the business to discuss cash in/cash out/outstanding balances
12. Any other adhoc work
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for the Transactional Finance Manager role, you must:
13. Have previously worked in a similar position and be able to demonstrate this
14. Ideally have line managed and demonstrate strong leadership skills
15. Strong accounting software skills
16. Excellent problem solving skills
17. Eye for detail
18. Effective communication skills
19. Be able to prioritise
