An outstanding independent school in Cambridgeshire is recruiting a Physics Teacher for April 2025. This is a part-time role initially for a term, but can extend in length and become full-time for the right person.
This independent school aims to ensure pupils develop as independent lifelong learners and to provide a first-class, all-round education for every child. Every pupil is treated as an individual to ensure they all achieve their full potential. The school's ethos promotes a desire for achievement and success both in and outside of the classroom, but also to have fun and enjoy learning and school life.
The Head is seeking a passionate and engaging Physicist who will join a thriving and dynamic Physics department. The successful candidate will be deeply committed to the success of every pupil whom he or she teaches. You will deliver inspiring and stimulating lessons and have an appropriate degree. You will be expected to teach Physics at KS3 and KS4 level. All teaching staff are expected to take a full part in the wider life of the School through extracurricular involvement. The school is looking for someone who has a demonstrable enthusiasm for Physics and this role will suit an experienced teacher or someone early in their career with or without QTS.
If you are interested in teaching your specialist subject, Physics, in a vibrant and excellent independent school, please apply now. The school has a strong ethos of student welfare; therefore, any successful applicant will undergo a full enhanced criminal record check (DBS).
