Role
Candidates need to have experience of supporting children and young people, demonstrate a gender-based analysis of domestic abuse, be motivated, have the ability to work under pressure, and must have a qualification suitable for SSSC Housing Support registration.

Fife Women’s Aid is looking to recruit a full-time and a part-time member of staff to provide advice, advocacy, support, and services to children, young people, and families who have experienced domestic abuse. Applicants should have experience of providing support in a relevant social care setting.
The successful applicants will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in childcare or another relevant subject, or equivalent experience and willingness to work towards a qualification.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of motivation and have the ability to work as part of a team as well as flexible hours to suit the needs of families. An ability to cover on-call is an advantage (additional payments are made for this role).
Membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is a requirement for this post.
North Ayrshire Women’s Aid is looking to recruit a General Assistant to provide support & assistance to our team working with women experiencing domestic abuse. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working in a Domestic Environment and be confident in practical skills to include DIY, manual handling awareness, and an organised approach to tasks.
MDWA is a dedicated provider of support services for women, children, and young people who have experienced domestic abuse. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience as a Chief Executive or through a similar role, preferably within a similar organisation. You will combine financial acumen and governance expertise with the proven ability to foster partnerships and deliver results.
Your Impact:
* To lead the Team in delivering all aspects of MDWA’s work including the delivery of our Domestic Abuse Services, finance, fundraising, business and partnership development, administration, facilities management, human resources, health and safety, ICT and internal and external communications.
* To support a positive women-centred culture in all aspects of the Charity's operations, placing person-centred care and recovery at the heart of our services.
* To ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and delivery of good practice in all aspects of the Charity’s work.
* To work to raise the profile of the Charity with external stakeholders, representing MDWA on Groups like MARAC, MATAC and VAWG.
* To influence and represent the Charity externally at a high level.

What You Bring:
* Significant senior experience in a related role.
* Significant experience of operating in a senior leadership position.
* Knowledge of the impact of domestic abuse and associated trauma and its origins.
* Ability to lead change and improvement programmes.
* A person-centred approach and an awareness of health and well-being.
* Experience in developing and delivering service plans.
* Experience of working closely with a Board or equivalent.
* Financial management experience.
* Experience of fundraising & income generation.
