Occupational Health Technician Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm Location: Royston with ad hoc travel as required Salary: £26,325 per annum Our client is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to deliver high-quality health surveillance services as part of their dynamic and supportive team. They welcome candidates with degrees in Sports Science or a related field, as well as those with transferable skills, such as experienced EMTs or individuals with a nursing background. Full training will be provided. In this role, you’ll play a key part in promoting workplace health and wellbeing by conducting a range of assessments including audiometry, spirometry and skin prick testing. You’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining clinical equipment, managing stock levels, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork and databases, and escalating findings where necessary. You’ll also contribute to health promotion activities, support service improvements, and take part in clinical audits, meetings, and ongoing training to help them deliver consistently excellent care to their client. Candidates must have a full clean drivers licence and access to a car. General Nursing qualification or evidence of OH technician training/experience is desirable.
