The role is 80% focused around the purchase ledger process but you will also get involved in supporting the sales ledger team and will be able to help out in other areas around busy periods. What You’ll Be Doing Managing purchase and sales ledger activities with accuracy and efficiency Processing high volumes of purchase invoices on a daily basis Sorting and scanning sales invoices Raising purchase order numbers Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies Building strong relationships with suppliers and clients by resolving queries and maintaining clear communication Supporting with the supplier reconciliation process Assisting with preparation of payment runs and credit control processes What We’re Looking For Previous experience in an accounts, ideally purchase ledger/accounts payable or a busy, fast paced administrative role A detail-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude Great communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and the team Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Ideally, access to your own transport due to the rural location What’s in it for you?
