Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled NOC Engineer to join their team on a 6 month contract.
Role Overview:
As a NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and swift resolution of any issues. This is an on-site role with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
* Respond to network alerts and incidents, performing initial diagnosis and escalation as needed.
* Perform routine maintenance and updates on network equipment.
* Collaborate with other engineers and departments to resolve complex network issues.
* Document all network changes and incidents thoroughly.
* Provide support for network-related projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Valid CCNA and CCNP certifications are required.
* Proven experience in a NOC or similar network support role.
* Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a shift pattern.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
