Key Responsibilities:
Take a lead in developing the operational strengths of the charity audit team, supporting the firm’s expansion in this area.
Use strong audit expertise to provide technical guidance and serve as a departmental lead.
Oversee a portion of the Managing Director’s client portfolio.
Deliver hands-on technical support and guidance for audit and accounting teams.
Develop and mentor team members, contributing to the firm’s growth and client relationships.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: Qualified accountant with 5+ years of experience, ACA preferred.
Technical Expertise: Strong audit and accounting background with a comprehensive understanding of technical standards and ISA315 audit requirements.
Preferred Software: Proficiency with IRIS, My Working Papers, and Xero.
Communication Skills: Ability to build client relationships and support business development.
Management Skills: Experience managing teams, mentoring junior talent, and ensuring quality in technical delivery.
Attention to Detail: High standards in accuracy and audit rigor.
Sector Experience: Charity sector experience is beneficial.
