Title: Customer Service Advisor
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 per annum dependant on experience
Duration: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Rolling Shift Pattern: 4days on 4days off; average 38.5 hrs per week
Shift is 7am to 7pm. Working weekends and bank holidays is a requirement except Christmas Day

About you
You will have a passion for providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers with the ability to work as part of
a team albeit with the confidence to work independently and be self-motivated when required.
You will have strong communication skills both verbal and written; good organisational and interpersonal skills; be able to work
in a pressured environment and be computer literate in Microsoft and have an awareness of bespoke software.
General experience within sales and / or customer services is preferred but not essential.
About the role
The Customer Service department operates 7 days a week, supporting our sales and rental teams in the successful handover and
ongoing assistance with our rental solutions.
You will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by creating quotations, handling customer enquiries,
processing contractual documentation, produce internal handovers and ensure commercial compliance throughout the sales process.
Working as part of our team on a shift rota system, this role is an exciting opportunity for you to be at the forefront of the
MEMS rental operation.

Key responsibilities
* Point of contact for new and existing customers
* Drafting of quotations and proposals for approval prior to submission
* Escalate customer opportunities within the sales team as necessary
* Arranging & booking of technical surveys and customer appointments
* Investigate and resolve customer queries
* Check product and labour resource availability
* Processing and completion of standard documentation and reports
* Assist customer with registration and account creation
* Complete weekly audits of departmental processes
* Monitoring and responding to the MEMS Live Chat
