The successful candidate will bring a strong history of leading complex, high-value projects from inception through completion—consistently delivering results on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. Key responsibilities include: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all phases of mechanical projects, from planning and design through execution and close-out. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, ensure adherence to technical specifications, and enforce safety and quality standards. Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, including performance metrics, timelines, and risk assessments, to senior leadership and clients. Proactively identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery and outcomes. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and long-term partnership success. Skills Required: Exceptional Communication Skills: Able to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Advanced Multitasking & Organisational Ability: Skilled at managing multiple high-priority initiatives and complex project components simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work seamlessly across departments. Strong Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of project financials, cost control, and value engineering to drive profitability and strategic decision-making. Effective Negotiation Skills: Adept at securing favourable terms with clients, contractors, and vendors while maintaining positive working relationships. Strategic Leadership: Demonstrates decisive leadership, motivating teams, managing conflict, and driving performance in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
