Rate of Pay: £12.80 - £16.01 per Hour
Summary:
The Building Services Administrator will provide administrative support to the Building Maintenance and Home Improvements team. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining systems, supporting communication processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery of administrative tasks. This role plays a key part in improving the Councils operational efficiency and supporting the most vulnerable residents in accessing necessary services.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Building Maintenance and Home Improvements team.
Maintain and develop databases for case management and statistical analysis.
Serve as a primary contact point for Home Improvement clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Process and monitor maintenance requests through the Building Maintenance Helpdesk in line with defined procedures.
Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction records and inputting statistical data.
Support the Safety, Condition, and Compliance team by updating hazard and compliance databases during peak periods.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
Qualifications:
Literacy and numeracy qualifications.
ECDL or equivalent computer qualification.
Essential:
General administrative experience, preferably within a Home Improvement Service.
Knowledge of office systems, processes, and procedures.
Accurate keyboard skills and the ability to interrogate databases and produce reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external contractors.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize workloads effectively under pressure.
Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and working within a customer-focused environment.
