Job Description
Stirling Council is looking for an Environmental Health Officer with experience working within Food Law and Health & Safety Regulation to contribute to the delivery of an effective, reliable, and customer-focused Regulatory Service.
You will undertake an enforcement role as an Officer in terms of all relevant legislation and assist in the provision of technical support and advice to team members.
Subject to your qualifications, you will be responsible for undertaking food law inspections, dealing with a range of issues including food complaints, infectious disease surveillance, enforcement, responding to licensing consultations, and issuing export health certificates.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent computer skills and have the ability to organize your workload in an effective and productive way.
The ability to travel throughout the Stirling Council area is essential, and Council pool cars are available.

Candidates must hold a BSc in Environmental Health and REHIS Diploma or equivalent and ideally be members of REHIS.
