The role
In this pivotal role, you will design solutions for new customer network connections and alterations to existing customer network connections, including domestic, commercial, and industrial developments, ensuring they meet customer needs as well as network standards and statutory requirements. You will have the pressure and tight deadlines to carry out the above in a timely and cost-effective manner that delivers a reliable and economic electrical network.
What you’ll need
We are seeking someone with previous experience in technical design, drawing, and designing schematic drawings and High Voltage and Low Voltage switching detailed diagrams. Knowledge of the Electricity Act and associated Regulations, EEA SM-EI manuals, Health & Safety in Employment Act and associated Regulations, and Resource Management Act is essential. You will excel in communication, which includes writing specifications and marked-up designs for construction plans.
As mentioned above, with timely and cost-effective deliverables, you will have excellent planning and organisational skills.
A tertiary qualification would be ideal, and an EWRB Electrician Practicing License is a must!
