Grade: SO1 – Actual Salary £29,566 to £31,084
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days
Accountable to: Assistant Principal: Inclusion & Provision

Role:
The successful applicant will join the Inclusion Team and work alongside the Behaviour and Pastoral team. The GRT Inclusion Manager will be responsible for cultivating and promoting lasting change within the school GRT community. Additionally, they will support the effective running and implementation of the PB policy, contributing to its wider development, and assist key students accessing internal and external support.
The post holder will ensure that the pastoral care, personal development, and safeguarding of students are of the highest standard. You will address attendance issues; seek help for students in need by liaising with colleagues, parents, and external agencies and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that students feel safe and engage well.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To conduct, design and implement a robust programme of intervention which is flexible and responsive to the risks identified in the GRT community.
2. To communicate in both spoken and written English and Romanian with students, parents, and key stakeholders within the community.
3. To establish an understanding of the risks present within the local GRT community and identify key groups of students who could be vulnerable.
4. To create and develop connections with parents, community leaders, the police, and the local MP.
5. To use imagination and creativity to develop this role, placing it at the heart of GRT community transformation.
6. To provide one-to-one support for EAL (English as an Additional Language) students who are disengaged in learning.
7. To collaborate with the EAL Team to develop Language Leader Ambassadors.
8. To connect with outside agencies to promote community cohesion.
9. To track and monitor the impact of existing programmes to ensure their effectiveness.
