About the Role Specimen Reception is a fast-paced and high-output environment operating 24/7 to support vital analytical and diagnostic procedures within our Pathology Laboratories. Your role will include: Receiving, sorting, labeling, and preparing specimens for analysis. Accurate data entry to maintain essential records. Managing telephone inquiries with professionalism. After comprehensive training, you will be part of the departmental shift system, covering weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays to ensure seamless service delivery. Sample Preparation: Label, store, and retrieve samples following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administrative Tasks: Perform data entry of patient information and test requests, manage telephone inquiries, welcome visitors, and retrieve patient information while ensuring data accuracy. Communication: Collaborate with clinical staff to exchange information about test requests and results, assess sample and request quality, and provide guidance on test availability. Why Join Us?
