Based in our central Guildford office, the Client Relationship team provides the first point of contact for our clients. They act as liaison between our annual accounts team and the client at year end and provide a quarterly review and VAT service as well as day to day support and advice.As a Client Accountant in this team, you will be expected to:Oversee a portfolio of clients ensuring their financial and compliance needs are met to the highest standards
Prepare and submit VAT Returns, CIS Returns, P11D Returns, ATED Returns and OSS Returns
Manage Companies House data changes such as confirmation statements, share transfers, director or partner appointments/resignations and contact details changes
Assist clients with day-to-day queries such as software issues, financial concerns and corporation tax matters
Conduct quarterly reviews, providing dividend advice and supporting clients in making informed financial decisions
Manage end of year review process ensuring a smooth transition to the annual accounts team for the statutory accounts preparation
Work closely with other internal teams to resolve client queries with accuracy and timeliness
Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients regarding tax affairs
Collaborate with external auditors when required
Mentor and support trainee accountantsYour skills? ICAEW or ACCA qualified accountant
