CV23 0AJ) The Opportunity The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for all goods received to site, support across the internal order fulfilment process and direct delivery sales transactions. Responsible for accurate paperwork and Tropos transactions related to the role. W hat you will contribute Understand and comply with the company initiatives for Safety, Health & Environment, actively supporting the “Safety First” approach and for carrying out tasks and operations as assigned in accordance with SOPs, Policies and Safe Systems of Work Responsible for all goods in and related transactions on Tropos, ensuring accurate booking in of all goods inwards stock and materials Responsible for arranging and processing all direct delivery sales transactions including arrangement of direct transport and associated documentation. Track and monitor bulk stock to ensure correct levels are maintained for accurate planning and production. Support stock management and planning activities as required including production paperwork such as lot creation & fill & blend sheets Ensure all inbound deliveries are booked in and slots allocated in and around outbound vehicles and avoid vehicle stacking Support site security and day to day control of entry to all visitors (access camera monitoring), Ensure inbound drivers have correct documentation, are inducted to site and follow site traffic & PPE rules. Develop a thorough understanding of Tropos and provide general administrative support to the operations and office teams as required Monitor in-bound delivery performance, ensuring they are on time, any issues logged/incidents raised, and the purchasing manager informed. What you will bring Committed to a Safety First approach to all aspect of the job. At least 2 year's experience of good-in and stock handling in a similar industry with knowledge of ADR and transport document requirements. General operations and/or supply chain qualification Scientific qualification ideally in Chemistry (min A' level or equivalent) Practical/proactive problem solver and flexible to support a dynamic, customer driven business. Tenacious, thorough, determined, energetic and driven with attention to detail Well organised and able to assimilate new information quickly and take innovative approach to solve complex queries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, providing both customers and internal stakeholders with clear concise information to provide positive and beneficial interaction. IT literate and proficient in MS Office tools, esp Excel. Good knowledge of Tropos and system or other ERP. Able to collate data from multiple sources into useable documentation Persuasive, goal orientated and able to follow specific processes and requirements Quality conscious and well organised, able to respond quickly to requests for information or support. Team player and customer orientated. Flexible to be able to work on multiple and varied tasks. Experience of working for a Chemicals or Food & Drinks company would be an advantage.
