We are seeking a dedicated and community-oriented Neighbourhood Services Coordinator to oversee and develop programs that foster community engagement, safety, and well-being. This role involves working collaboratively with local groups, identifying community needs, and implementing initiatives that enhance neighbourhood services. Our client is committed to creating strong, vibrant communities. The successful candidate will work closely with local residents, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance neighbourhood services and improve the quality of life for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and coordinate programs to support neighbourhood engagement and cohesion.
2. Work with local stakeholders, residents, and organizations to identify community needs and opportunities for improvement.
3. Dealing with ASB cases.
4. Manage budgets, resources, and funding applications for community projects.
5. Organize and promote neighbourhood events, workshops, and initiatives.
6. Provide guidance and support to community volunteers and groups.
7. Monitor program effectiveness and report on outcomes to stakeholders.
8. Advocate for community interests and establish a close working relationship with key teams and services.
9. Conduct estate inspections.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Experience in community development, social work, or a related field.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to engage with diverse communities and build positive relationships.
4. Experience in project management, budgeting, and funding applications.
5. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
