Group HR Manager Annual Salary: £60,000-£90,000pa Location: Kent Job Type: Full-time REED HR have partnered with a fantastic organisation in Kent who are seeking a Group HR Manager to oversee HR operations across multiple companies within a blue-collar environment. This role encompasses a wide range of HR functions, including performance management, reward, training, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in HR management and a proven track record of enhancing workforce productivity and satisfaction. Day-to-day of the role: Rewriting contracts and job specifications. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of multiple companies. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues. Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure alignment with organisational needs and culture. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Maintain pay plan and benefits program, assessing the competitiveness and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, mitigating risks and overseeing HR policies and procedures. Conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads. Manage succession planning of staff within the group of companies. Provide decision support through HR metrics, compiling reports from the database as needed. Projects on Training and Rewards & Benefits. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a blue-collar or similar industry. Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and HR systems. Knowledge of HR systems and databases. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices. Degree in CIPD Human Resources or related field; further training or certification in Human Resource Management will be a plus. Benefits: Competitive salary package.
