Job Introduction
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our Business Support Team on a permanent basis.
Based at Endeavour House, you will be working as part of a small, friendly team. This post forms part of the Business Support Team within the Customer Experience and Corporate Support directorate. The team is responsible for a wide range of duties including:
1. Preparing meeting papers
2. Minute taking
3. Raising purchase orders
4. Managing bookings for three community centres
5. Managing the online post system
6. Organising hospitality for meetings
7. Meeting and greeting visitors
8. Raising repairs for offices
9. Monthly cleaning inspections
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, you will have experience of working in a busy office; have excellent customer care skills and be able to communicate effectively with a variety of different people, both internally and externally. You will need to have excellent IT skills including a sound knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. You will also need to be highly organised, maintain accurate records, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
