We are seeking a talented Buyer to join our client's team in Winsford. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our business by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials, components, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently
Forecast and plan purchasing requirements based on manufacturing plans and inventory levels
Track and expedite orders to meet delivery deadlines
Create and maintain accurate part numbers and BOMs
Resolve invoice queries promptly
Support inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels
Collaborate with manufacturing and warehouse teams to address discrepancies
Support the implementation of category strategies and cost-saving initiatives
Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory levels
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues promptly
Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Proficiency in Excel, procurement software, and ERP systems
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience:
2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable)
Understanding of quality control standards and procedures (desirable)
