Due to continuous growth, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team of engineers. Based primarily at our Walsall Office, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects within the Southern and Central Frameworks. This role presents an exciting chance to contribute to projects ranging from £250k to £8M, partnering with leading water companies.

What's the role:
* The role involves carrying out commissioning activities and managing supplier/contractor commissioning.
* Involvement in the installation and commissioning of projects from design to conception and interfacing with clients.
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings, control relay logic, and process design drawings.
* Demonstrable experience to produce clear and professional job reports with competence.
* Quality Control and Technical compliance in accordance with project requirements. Completing and transmitting inspection check-sheets as required.
* Compliance with the Safety Management System and client safety rules at all times.
* Ensuring that all necessary technical reports (or contributions to technical reports) are completed in a timely manner.
What you'll need:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
* Mechanical & Electrical multi-skilled on-site experience.
* Water industry experience is essential.
* A clear understanding of water industry processes.
* Experience working with variable speed drives, instrumentation, and PLC proving activities.
* Good communication skills for client liaison and report writing.
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work.
* To work closely with the Commissioning team to ensure smooth transition of delivery.
* Ability to work away.
* Clean UK Driving License.
