Role Description The Global Markets Data Management team is offering an exciting opportunity to join the global team, in this role you will establish, execute, and continuously improve the data quality framework and control processes underpinning Market Risk, this will include the Fundamental Review of the Trading book (FRTB) regulatory program and other strategic initiatives. Global Markets Data Management is responsible for establishing and executing the data control framework for Global Markets with focus on Market Risk. The team works closely with other groups within Global Markets, Market Risk and the wider Risk organisation, Finance and Technology. The team also supports strategic initiatives and other projects aligned to data quality and control framework. Responsibilities: Manage execution of time critical data quality controls by Global team, lead strategic efforts to remediate data quality issues keeping stakeholders accountable for remediation of data issues Establish, execute, and continuously improve the data quality framework and control processes under pinning Market Risk, including the Fundamental Review of the Trading book (FRTB) regulatory program and other strategic initiatives Identify opportunities and define solutions to continue to improve data quality and business processes within the Global Markets Data Management (GMDM) control framework Lead and drive enhancements to the Risk processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory policies, risk data aggregation standards, and enterprise-mandated standards Collaborate across Global Markets, Market Risk, Finance, PMO and Technology on Regulatory & Strategic Initiatives What we're looking for: Experience in managing or leading a diverse team, ideally a control or data management function Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and ability to present issues and ideas clearly Ability to work with large datasets using Excel or SQL Excellent communication both written and verbal, interpersonal, collaboration and organisational skills Ability to multitask and prioritise, work to tight deadlines in a diverse team spread across different geographical locations across the world.
