To assist our expanding national sales team based across the UK, we are looking for a Sales Manager for the Northern region. Job description Position: National Sales Manager - North Location: Matlock Contract: Full Time 40 hours per week, Permanent Salary: Basic salary from £35,000k per annum Reporting To: Sales Director The Role: As our Sales Manager (North), you will be responsible for managing a Sales Team of circa 13 National and Local Account Managers, the role directly reports to the Sales Director. This will include regular meetings with your Team to support and review targets, pipeline, compliance, designs etc. Driving projects forward and helping to solve problems before they arise. You will also be responsible for managing and developing accounts, in line with our company's expectations and be responsible for the financial management for your portfolio of customers, building professional and efficient relationships whilst providing excellent standards of customer service. Responsibilities include, but not limited to To work with the Sales Director and Managing Directors to develop, implement and achieve a sales plan for National Sales, allowing the Sales Director and Manager Director to focus on the business development Arrange regular meetings with the National and Local Account Managers To agree pricing strategies for all customers versus market competition inline with the Authority Matrix Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of new products and ways in which they can be creatively used to ensure all customers have the latest products, where possible To identify key personnel within each customer account, develop relationships to influence decision makers To maximise as many of our core services with each customer To assist, mentor and support the branch network in fulfilling our service delivery in line with customer expectations Follow all Company policies and procedures and ensure they are also being implemented throughout our customer’s sites as required Ensure all billing requirements for your Teams are up to date and communicated as per the Company’s policies and procedures. Assist with credit control as requested Act upon and manage with your Team enquiries from your Teams sites To provide effective reporting as required To share best practice, enthusing and motivating Team members Requirements Requirements: An excellent communicator and relationship builder Experience in Management and or Managing a Team preferable Ability to up sell additional products and services to customers A flexible approach to field-based remote working and travelling across the UK.
