To provide leadership, and inspire change in those around you. To Lead the successful implementation of the "Eurofins Lean methodology" in the Business Unit(s) with the support of the Head of Continuous Improvement & the corporate Lean Program Leaders. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities - Delivery of continuous improvement in the Business Unit working environment that meets Regulatory requirements where necessary, and Eurofins Forensic Services operational requirements - To project manage local continuous improvement projects. Create and implement project plan, and monitor progress against plan, elevate roadblocks that cannot be removed locally or require a third-party arbitrage - To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to delivery via internal governance and controls - Identify key areas for improvement through the use of Value Stream Maps and applying Lean tools, and maintain up to date Value Stream Maps for the Business Unit(s) - Implementation of process changes, performance management tools & continuous improvement methodologies - To work with other team members to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting - To Train and Coach local staff in Lean and Continuous Improvement. The individual will need to train and build the Lean skills of the local resources so that they are able to implement, sustain and continue using Lean principles. Training will be delivered and provided first by the Head of Continuous Improvement & the Eurofins corporate Lean team - Demonstrate quantifiable improvements to processes through improved KPIs including turnaround time (TAT) compliance, reduced consumable spend or increased revenue - Promotion of Continuous Improvement within the Business Unit & provision of regular updates to the Head of Continuous Improvement and other Key Stakeholders - Involvement in team building and team management: Can identify resources required to solve particular problem/run project. Can identify skills/will gap of team members and ensure they are properly motivated/coached to deliver impact.
