About the role
The In-House Service Engineer is to provide a range of services from Inspection, Troubleshoot, Repair and Calibration of Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) products.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Repair and Calibration of RVI products (Industrial Borescope)
2. Ensure that the assigned task is executed in a timely fashion and in line with Service Center expectations and requirements.
3. Timely execution and completion of standard service reports, quotations, and other administrative requirements.
4. Good verbal and written English communication skills.
5. Demonstrate EHS mindset and compliance.
6. Commitment to quality and service to enhance customer satisfaction.
7. Deliver reports and output documents within defined time with good quality after job execution.
To be successful:
1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering
2. Have 1 year experience in a similar industry (Open for fresh graduates)
3. Knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing optical or inspection equipment would be an advantage.
4. Hands-on experience in mechanical and electronics repairs
5. Experience in the use of electronic measuring instruments i.e. multimeters, scopes etc.
6. Knowledge of analog and digital technology
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and able to articulate issues by breaking them down into bite-size chunks to elaborate on the method used to resolve them.
8. Strong customer focus and a passion for service
9. Ability to communicate with internal as well as external stakeholders.
10. Able to work with minimal supervision.
11. Team player
12. Able to work in an In-house environment.
13. Desire to learn and be a fast learner.
