Actual starting salary (calculated pro rata): £22,041 per annum
Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments

The Burgess Hill Academy are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Learning Support Assistant to join the team.
Learning Support Assistants play a crucial role in the education of our students. They promote the learning and personal development of all pupils; including but not exclusively, those with special education needs. Working as part of our Inclusion Team, the SEMH Learning Support Assistant will provide support in the classroom and work with specific students, across all subject areas.
This opportunity will suit you if you have:
* Excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills
* The ability to work in a discreet and sensitive manner
* Experience of working with or caring for children in a domestic or professional capacity
* Experience of or willingness to train in order to offer personal care
* Knowledge of SEN Code of Practice
* Experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs in a classroom and small teaching environment
* Knowledge of support strategies for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties
