Complementary Description What is an Apprenticeship? Apprenticeships are Government funded, work-based training programmes for recruiting full-time people ages 16 (there is no upper age limit) and providing them with the opportunity to combine 'on the job' training with a nationally recognised. The apprenticeships programme, funded through the Welsh Government supports training costs. The employer works with an approved training provider for this apprenticeship at Safran Seats it is Trinity St David's (Swansea) University. This application is for a Degree Apprenticeships designed by industry to bring together the very best in higher and vocational education. At the end of this course will have full Bachelor's in Supply Chain and Logistics. What will I be doing as an Apprentice? Depending on the level that you come into your apprenticeship, will determine your starting point. During your working time onsite, you will work in various functions to learn multiple areas within Supply Chain which are aligned to the assessment criteria for you qualification. This will include areas such as Purchasing, Planning, Logistics and Production Control. The learning necessary and the complexity of the department will determine the length Job Requirements What is Supply Chain? Job Requirements - what do you need from me? - You may not know much about Supply Chain or Logistics but you are naturally inquisitive about how things work and curious about how to make things better - You are able to demonstrate a methodical and thorough approach to work (you are definitely a completer-finisher) - Supply Chain is often about mitigating challenges, so you have excellent problem solving skills with the ability to look at problems from different viewpoints - The role of apprentice will require you to be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills whether on the phone, in person or virtually - You will be a motivated, hardworking individual with excellent planning and organisational skills, preferably highly skilled in Excel - We work as a team, pulling together and you will also have the opportunity to work by yourself - Data plays a key role in everything we do so analytical skills and financial analysis will be part of your daily routine Successful candidates will ideally have achieved, or expect to achieve at least 3 A-Levels (or equivalent).
