Resourcing Team Manager – Engineering and Operations

You’ll be embedded into the company’s purpose and culture and build relationships across the organisation, delivering exceptional client service.
Here are the key responsibilities:
* Management of c.5 direct reports, ensuring the team are successfully owning their recruitment life cycles using a proactive and strategic focus for their allocated vacancies
* Work closely with your Resourcing Manager to communicate change and continuous improvement to the team and implement strategic recruitment practices across the business area
* Build key stakeholder relationships with Resourcing Director, HR Director, Division Directors and HR Partnering team, participating and presenting at regular meetings to gain insight into demand forecasting, sharing successes and risks with mitigating actions
* Ensure your team are contributing to agreed commitments in alignment with skills & resourcing strategies agreed at senior level and review regularly
* Working closely with your team lead, review, analyse and understand data to inform performance against SLA and KPI commitments and objectives, feeding back to Resourcing Manager
* Review data using power BI dashboard to provide monthly and quarterly updates to key senior stakeholders, for Performance Meetings
* Strategic ownership of pack creation and project plans for key recruitment projects and strategies for example:
* Resourcing & workforce planning within your key business areas
* Training for Hiring Managers on end-to-end recruitment processes – lunch and learns, “Recruiting Successful People” workshops
* Strategic Talent Attraction including ownership of actions for talent events, project plans and talent pools/pipeline
* Champion Lead for designated area such as ED&I, Military, underrepresented groups and untapped talent partnerships
* Ensure the team are trained in content creation for assessment centres, talent events and diverse and inclusive talent attraction campaigns including running project plans. Also provide return on investment data when additional attraction methods are used
* Continual review of recruitment funnel with your team, flagging pipeline and forecasting concerns where needed to senior stakeholders and line managers
* Managing provisional approval of third-party suppliers and relationships with approved agencies via our PSL
* Oversee and support the senior recruitment process
* Manage escalations and complaints
* Ensure compliance with resourcing process governance
* Deputise for Resourcing Manager and cover when needed for Senior Resourcing Business Partner
What we’re looking for
We have an opportunity in our Engineering and Operations team. We’re looking for someone with a solid background in successfully leading a team of Recruiters, who can help the team implement new, strategic and diverse attraction plans across the business area whilst ensuring day to day activity and client service is delivered seamlessly. To be successful, you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in Leadership and ideally some experience of helping manage a large team although this is not essential.
We work in a fast-paced environment and no two days are the same, therefore you’ll need to be able to prioritise your workload, work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines. Recruitment experience, whether this is from recruitment agency or preferably in-house or RPO, proactive sourcing at different levels and securing placements in short time scales is essential, as well as experience of liaising with external agencies and off-site partners.
You’ll need to be fully PC literate on Microsoft Office and able to pick up new systems with ease to use our applicant tracking system (ATS). We also work in a structured, process driven environment, so you must enjoy working to a process, ensuring you are following the correct recruitment methodology and frameworks at all times.
