KS1 Teacher (Part-time, Temporary) Newcastle Upon Tyne £600 - £1,192.95 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) February 2025 – July 2025 The School and Role A Primary School based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to employ a KS1 Teacher to work part-time from February 2025. The successful candidate will be working within a Year 2 class, consisting of 30 pupils and prior experience of delivering Read, Write, Inc would be essential. This will be a job share and the teacher will be expected to plan for the lessons they will be delivering. The working days will be Monday – Wednesday, 08:30-15:30. Requirements The desired Teacher will have: • Experience of teaching within KS1. • Experience of delivering Read, Write, Inc Phonics. • An ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning. • An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
