Our Day Surgery team has a great deal of experience in delivering the highest quality care, and are delighted to say we are expanding with new theatres and increased secondary recovery. As part of our growth, we are recruiting for an additional four registered Theatre Practitioners (either NMC or AHP Registered). The majority of the surgery performed at Torbay and South Devon is day case surgery, which is when people come to hospital, have their surgery and return home on the same day. Our Day Surgery Unit treats over 9,000 people a year, and has been open since 1995. It is a really welcoming and warm environment, and we see both adults and children. Joining our team, you would be expected to be an advocate for the Trust who put patient care as a priority and high quality patient focused care at the fore front of all we do. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality care for patients in the perioperative stage of their care. We are looking for staff with experience in scrub and anaesthetics Caretojoinus.
