We are seeking an enthusiastic and effective Project Support Officer to provide support and assistance to the Lead Commissioner for Leisure, Play, Health & Wellbeing, in a full time role on a fixed term contract for a period of 30 months, effective from the 1 st April 2025 to the 30 th September 2027 inclusive. Delivery of the Worcester Play Plan priority projects is the main component of the work programme and will be fundamental to the role. Therefore, experience of supporting the delivery of previous play related projects is essential to the selection process, although appropriate guidance/training will also be provided. We are looking for someone who is passionately committed to the delivery of Leisure, Play, Health & Wellbeing initiatives, is enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work unsupervised and within a team. You will also be able to work collaboratively with partner organisations and communicate with all members of staff across the Council. You should be experienced at delivering objectives within set deadlines and be equipped with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style as necessary to suit differing audiences. We’re looking for candidates with good time management and personal organisation skills, coupled with the ability to multi-task effectively across a varied workload and still maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
