The BRUSH Transformers graduate trainee will be responsible for completing all tasks and projects assigned by their manager or mentor in each respective department. Whilst on a graduate rotation in specific business areas, they will learn the fundamental tasks, responsibilities and processes associated with these areas.
The Graduate Trainee will also assist with wider projects, conduct research, and write reports as directed. They should be able to follow instructions but also take initiative and formulate new ideas and suggestions around business/process improvements.
They will exhibit a growth mindset and a commitment to rapid learning and development within the organisation. In addition, they should be able to demonstrate a willingness to assist in driving improvements, be eager to readily engage with all stakeholders both within and outside of their area of specialization.
Role Responsibility
* Participate in on-the-job training according to schedules & rotations
* Shadow staff members and managers, asking questions, and assisting in projects wherever possible.
* Understand project requirements and learning objectives to complete all duties assigned by the manager or mentor in each designated business area.
* Seek feedback and guidance from experienced managers and mentors.
* Establish professional relationships with staff and managers throughout the business.
* Maintain a high degree of professionalism and diligence whilst undertaking projects and duties.
* Analyse activities in each business area and make suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
* Conduct research and provide written reports and recommendations as assigned.
* Participate in meetings and attend workshops and other training initiatives as required.
* Analyse data and write structured reports and presentations according to specifications.
* Record and share findings with your manager/mentor and any other relevant stakeholders.
* Contribute ideas, suggestions, and perspectives to discussions and projects, leveraging your unique perspective as a recent graduate.
* Taking notes on experiences, maintain CPD through training records, learning logs and reflective statements on activities.
* Work to establish and develop lasting professional relationships.
* Write and deliver a final report and presentation on a designated subject at the end of the graduate program.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
* Minimum of a 2:2 Bachelors/Integrated Master’s degree, or (b) a higher degree, such as a MSc or PhD. Manufacturing, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar degrees are ideal, but other STEM and business-related degrees will be considered when combined with relevant skills and interests.
* Strong academic record and demonstrated achievement in coursework, projects and extracurricular activities.
