Facilities Assistant
* Permanent position
* 52-weeks per year, 35 hours per week
* Hours to be worked between 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional late and weekend working, via a weekly Rota.
* Salary: Scale D point 5 - 6, £23,450 to £23,814 actual (£24,790 to £25,183 FTE)
Are you looking for an exciting and challenging support role in a local academy? Situated in the coastal village of Caister on Sea, just 20 miles east from the vibrant city of Norwich, Caister Academy has an opening for a Facilities Assistant. You will be based on site and be part of a team of four including the Facilities Manager.
The core purpose of the role is:
· Day to day running of the academy site as well as assisting with larger projects.
· Assist with the responsibilities but not limited to site and grounds maintenance, contractors, security, cleaning services.
· Ensuring that the school site provides an attractive, safe, secure, clean, and welcoming environment for all.
· Opening and / or closing the school site.
