Kenwood Recruitment have partnered with a well established Housing Provider based in East Lancashire to support with the recruitment for a brand new service designed to support people from the vulnerable community to live an independent life filled with positive outcomes. My client is looking for an experienced Housing Team Leader or even a Senior Support Worker who is now looking to progress in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage own support staff & support lead – allocating properties with clients to each support worker's case load.
* Work with the Leaving Care Compliance Manager to ensure support is effective/compliant and adequate to each person’s funding for set hours.
* Liaise with the Maintenance team to ensure Health & Safety are completed in the supported properties.
* Liaise with Admin/compliance assistant to ensure training hub is complete and all paperwork for on-boarding is complete.
* Review relevant on-boarding apps – Manage and ensure all staff are added and using the app when applicable – conduct training on the app.
* Manage the Training Hub across the board and liaise with Admin/compliance assistant to add new starters.
* Responsible for CRM for audits, liaising with staff for any inconsistencies.
* Liaise with current local authorities and local agencies to ensure a strong rapport and continued pathways for referrals.
* Liaise with the Referral team – to ensure service users are placed based on suitability.
* On call – When on call ensure reporting procedure is carried out and filled in accurately using a computer-based system.
* Record all safeguarding concerns and incidents on the incident report form and place in the relevant folder for the operations managers to audit every quarter.
This is a Temporary role to begin with and the Housing Team Leader will thereafter become permanent for the successful candidate. You will be required to fulfil a formal application process for the permanent role unless otherwise stated by the hiring manager/decision maker.
The hourly rate for this role ranges between £16.53- £17.25 per hour (umbrella) dependent on experience.
The successful Housing Team Leader must have access to a car and a full driving license as this role will require some travel. Travel costs will be reimbursed at the standard rate per mile. You will need an enhanced DBS check issued within the last 12 months.
