The Position To achieve its growth ambitions in the GB renewable and battery storage markets, ElectroRoute wishes to continue to grow its high calibre team and is currently seeking a talented Originator. The candidate will report to the Head of GB Services, working closely with other members of the Origination function. The Role This role will see the Originator work closely with the Client Origination team on a diverse range of product development and origination activities to support the growth of ElectroRoute’s presence in the GB renewable and battery storage markets. 1. Product Structuring & Development Develop an understanding of the revenue streams available to renewable and battery storage market participants in the GB market Support the Head of GB Services in the development of market leading renewable and battery storage products, working closely with pricing, trading, marketing, and legal teams to take products from conception to commercial execution Conduct analysis, and gather market intelligence to inform product development activities and identify improvements to existing products 2. Client Origination Identify potential leads and clients to discuss origination and new product opportunities Support the Head of GB Services in the development of presentations, proposals and term sheets for presenting to potential clients Liaise with Pricing, Trading, and Finance teams to agree pricing and commercial terms to present to potential clients Support the negotiation and execution of contracts with new clients 3. Business Development Activities Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the GB Services business unit Marketing and profile building through networking, attendance at conferences, speaking opportunities, blog posts, demonstrating thought leadership Activities relating to developing and implementing the company's marketing and branding strategy Role Requirements 5 years’ experience in the energy sector, with specific experience in the GB Battery Energy Storage market High level of commercial and financial acumen Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate complex matters in clear language, both internally and with clients directly. Innovative thinker, with strong analytical skills: an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Highly motivated to meet and engage with clients throughout GB Natural ability to work across diverse teams and achieve results through others Problem solving and a can-do attitude, coupled with a high level of resilience and tenacity Location The role will be based in London with some travel to Dublin.
